Must See 2015 Golden Globe Jewelry Trends and Trendsetters

While far from boring, 2015's Golden Globe jewelry was restrained in comparison to past red carpet award shows.  For example, instead piling on a handful of diamond rings, an oversized diamond bangle, a heavy diamond necklace, and blinding diamond earrings; Hollywood stylists went for a focal piece of jewelry to compliment the evening’s fashion.  Good news, this shift will make selecting jewelry for formal attire far more achievable (and affordable) in 2015.

Here were some of the night’s trends and trendsetters (Images From Popsugar):

  • We saw a continued trend in the stackable jewelry
  • More great examples of mixed metal jewelry.
  • Bold and modern pearl jewelry.
  • Bare necklines
  • Diamonds everywhere
  • Classic jewelry
Heidi Klum
For jewelry enthusiasts, with no necklace, no bracelet, and classic oversized diamond studs all eyes were on Heidi Klum’s jaw dropping diamond rings!  Her five outrageous diamond rings mixed carat size, shape, and setting for a playful look!

Lena Dunham
We love her ability to wear yellow gold pearl jewelry that is edgy, while elegant, and exciting, while not overpowering!  This proves that yellow gold is always fashionable.

Lupita Nyong’o
While gemstone jewelry was sparse on the red carpet, we need to acknowledge Lupita Nyong’o.  Her amethyst ring was lovely.  BUT, it was her amethyst and peridot drop earrings that really pulled her entire look together from dress to make-up!  It’s always a thrill to see what she will wear next.

Camila Alves
This model, designer, and wife, to Matthew McConaughey, kept her look crisp, clean, and feminine!  My favorite part of her fashion was how well she made her engagement ring and ring guards a jewelry focal point.  No necklace, bracelet, or overpowering rings.  Just a feminine pair of earrings and her wedding set.  Timeless!  (Anyone notice that lovely Marsala nail polish too?)

Amy Adams
Amy Adams’ red carpet jewelry compliments the classic styling of her Atelier Versace gown.  However, her stackable diamond bands with one single mixed metal ring was perfect! This is how you combine modern trends with classic style.

Katherine Heigl
I had to clap when I got a good look at Katherine Heigl’s sapphire bracelet.  Our designer David Connolly, has been selling a similar bracelet to this for over a decade.  Why? Simple! Its beautiful, elegant, and always fashionable.  I would also like to point out that fabulous vintage ring!

Julianne Moore
Three words come to mind when I look at Julianne Moore’s jewelry: OMG, stackable, and juxtapose.  First off, how can you not say ‘wow’ when you see jewelry like that.  Second, this look takes stackables to a whole new level.  Third, I love the how she juxtaposed a simple diamond band against her over-the-top stackables.  This makes the stackables look huge and her simple diamond band look dainty and refined.

Amy Poehler
Let’s look past those great diamond bracelets and just talk about her ring.  This is another great example of modern pearl jewelry.  This ring is bold, dynamic, and fabulous!  L.O.V.E.

Emma Stone
Emma Stone walked the red carpet with a fingertip ring!  Now that this youthful trend that has been brought to the red carpet I wonder how many request we will start to see.  The good news is that this is an easy style to achieve with our gold stackable ring collection.
